Location of Find: El Boludo, Tamaulipas, Mexico

El Boludo is a meteorite named after the nearest town to where it was found. Found in 2013 by the American prospector, Greg Bruce, and his partners while they were searching for gold nuggets with a metal detector. Comprised of small chondrules and an abundance of opaque grains set in a dark brown mass. In searching the surrounding area more fragments as well as smaller, whole stones were also found, it is currently unknown how long the meteorite sat there before it was discovered.

Pendant comes with meteorite fragments encased in the glass vial with cork stopper and string.
