“Sericho” was found by two brothers searching for their camels, who stumbled across several large dense stones south of Sericho, Kenya. After weeks of collecting more than a ton of stone and taking them back to their village of Habaswein, they were identified as meteorites! Masses ranging from 1- 500kg have been found and show minimal weathering with patches of fusion crust on the surface. Most are blocky, exhibiting a few broad regmaglypts.

The meteorite comes in a small plastic casing with foam to protect each fragment. As well as a Specimen Identification Card for you to display at home. This is perfect as a gift!
