Volcano of Fire, Antigua Guatemala

Make a statement in any room with this satellite photograph of The Volcano of Fire. Printed on thick, durable, museum quality matte paper. Add the matte black frame for an extra touch of class.

This false colour image exploits the short wave infrared bands to highlight lava flows on Volcán de Fuego, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Volcano Fuego, combined with the neighbouring, and now extinct, volcano Acatenango form the La Horqueta Volcano complex. This borders Antigua Guatemala. Thousands of people live in the shadow of the volcanoes, so frequent monitoring is essential for assessing hazard risk.
