Fascinaton Space - £14.99 per person
Enjoy this 2-hour space experience for Reception to Year 11.
This package includes 2 virtual reality experiences, donning a replica Tim Peake space suit, augmented reality, eating like an astronaut, holding rocks older than the planet itself, and more.
Hold meteorites older than the Earth! During this activity you’ll hear about and hold our fantastic selection of meteorites discovered across the globe that have arrived here on Earth over the centuries.
Get your hands-on authentic meteorites, large and small, touch, feel and learn about their origin and what they are made of.
Eat Like an Astronaut:
What would you eat in space? Explore what it’s like to Eat Like an Astronaut during our hands-on, interactive activity. You’ll hear how space food and packaging has transformed over the years since early space flight as well as take away some fab, fun facts!
Our hands-on experience makes this a day both students and teachers won’t forget!
Satellite Space - from £19.99 per person
A 1.5-hour activity encompassing a talk, Build a Satellite and Satellite Treasure Hunt activities.
During this talk we will discuss the gathering of satellite data and its application in everyday life, which will lead into building a satellite, and a satellite treasure hunt.
Exploration Space - £12.99 per person
An hour-long activity to include Satellite Treasure Hunt, Augmented Reality and Meteorites activities.
Individual Bookable Activities
You can also book individual activities as components to create a bespoke session to meet your requirements.
This activity takes around 45/50 minutes to complete.
During the session we will talk about Space Store as a start-up organisation, the team behind Space Store, our history and vision for the future. We'll provide an overview of our organisation and the different roles that each person has within the company and the support they have provided to bring Space Store to proof of concept stage.
We focus specifically on our work experience student who now works for the store as our social media expert. Participants will receive a brief overview of the space sector the application of data collected in space in everyday life, watch a video from one of our colleagues working within the space industry, website information about the careers linked to the industry and where to go to find out more information about careers as well as take part in a short quiz. The group then moves on to a hands-on augmented reality activity, which links to a quiz.Contact us to book
