Stars are battling gas and dust in the Lagoon Nebula. Also known as M8, this nebula is visible even without binoculars towards the constellation of the Archer (Sagittarius) The energetic processes of star formation creates not only the colours but the chaos.
I love the way the energy flows in this piece and the colours bounce off of one another in a jostling, frenzy of creativity.
